Nigel did his medical degree at Auckland University. He then came to Melbourne to pursue Orthopaedic Surgery training.

Nigel then went on to do subspecialty fellowship training in Knee Surgery under Dr John Bartlett, Prof Julian Feller, Dr Hayden Morris and Dr Tim Whitehead.

Currently, Nigel only does Knee surgery and deals with all knee related issues. He specialises in knee athroscopy, knee reconstruction, knee replacement, complex revision knee replacement and all other knee conditions. Nigel sees paediatric and adult patients.

He holds memberships in the Australian Orthopaedic Association, the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, International Society of Athroscopy, Knee Surgery and Orthopaedic Sports medicine.

Nigel’s research interest include new technologies in knee joint replacement. He is very committed to providing patient centred treatment.
